Shippou is a cute, little fox demon. He tried to steal the jewel shards away from Inuyasha and Kagome, so he could get stronger and kill the thunder brothers to avenge his father. They killed his father for his jewel shard and fur. After Kagome got kidnapped, he and Inuyasha went to save her. During Inuyasha's fight with Hiten, his father's foxfire spirit saved him and Kagome from Hiten's lighting attack. He then joined the group because he has nowhere else to go. He is very close to Kagome and doesn't get along with Inuyasha. He doesn't do much, and just there to be cute and to annoy Inuyasha.
